Hong Kong

This town really changes a lot. The Chinese seem to have a tradition to shun the old and embrace the new whenever they can. This is a rather common view in Hong Kong, in Kowloon.
- a new house with a glas façade
- a derelict house (or at least it looks that way)
- an advertising poster

Typical Hong Kong view

I and Rolf came to ponder on the view that many city dwellers have on nature. If you wonder what triggered those thoughts, have a look at this aviary in Kowloon Park.

Stadsnatur

Hong Kong have a lot of street markets, mainly knick-knacks, although the bird and aquarium markets are more fun. I can also recommend a market-hall. Shop keepers in Hong Kong are really fond of really strong lights so it usually possible to take snap shots without a flash light.
